We now have have an Official "College Student"....kind of scary! We traveled to Freed Hardeman University last weekend for a "Crow Hop" which was just a day to get everything in order. We talked to an Adviser, he auditioned for the Choir (made it!) scheduled all of his classes, finances in order, got his ID and mail box number and we were done! it all took about 3 hours??
The girls went with us, along with a friend from church, who is also attending Freed in the Fall.
After we were done with all the Adviser stuff we all walked around campus, went to the 2 story bookstore and browsed for a couple of hours. It was Awesome! All kind of neat things there! I am SO doing my Christmas shopping there this year! We went out to dinner, then brought the kids back to campus for a "Eric Hutchison" Concert. We had rented a hotel room for the night so we could spend as much time as we needed and have some fun too...we haven't been out of town or on a "vacation" in a year and half now so thought it would be a fun, and get a good nights sleep also :)
We slept in the next morning and went to breakfast, headed out about 10 am, went back over to campus and took some pics, then headed home. We got into town and went to Mom & Dad's for lunch, then came home!
This past week was a very busy week for all of us......will write more soon!
