So Sorry.....

So Sorry it's been such a long time since I've posted anything. So many things have happened since the last time I posted it seems, just have had no time to sit down long enough to fill you in.
Will go back and fill you in, the week of19-25 I worked a couple of games, drove to see the kids sing at the annual Choral festival, Mom had eye surgery and we cleaned, cleaned, cleaned house ALL day Sat; Sat evening B went with the teens from church to Beggs Family Farm and had a good time. Ri to a Halloween party with some friends from school. He'd been invited to 3 different activities that day, had to choose 1...Lee & I took Ra out to dinner since it was just us, so we could spend some quality time with her we don't get to do very often.
Sunday we had a big shock announced after morning services that our Preacher and his family were leaving us. It was a very emotional and sad afternoon for everyone. He's an Exceptional speaker, and we have grown so much since moving to this congregation. They will be leaving at the end of the year to a congregation in TN. We wish them well, and will truly miss them!
Last Monday we had a "Professional Development Day" off and had planned on making another visit to Freed, but 1 of Ri's friends had to work so we postponed it. It was a well needed day off, after running non stop for 2 weeks straight. We slept in, got up and made a hot breakfast, B and I went shopping that afternoon. She ABSOLUTELY HATES to shop! she is so picky...I thought I was picky...OH MY GOODNESS! she hates all the styles that are out....it was awful shopping with her...trying to find something for church. We FINALLY found a couple of pairs of slacks and a shirt she liked, that she can wear for church, so we bought 3 of the same shirt in a different color! We picked up a new pair of winter shoes that she can wear to church or with pants. Other than me being frustrated with her over clothes shopping and trying to get her to "step out of her box" we had a nice afternoon. We got home in time to fix supper and relax the rest of the evening. This past week wasn't too bad, the kids have been busy getting ready for our last football game, which was Thursday night because of Halloween being on Friday night. The Sr. Band members were preparing for a field show also. We had the honor of walking out on the field with them and being introduced "in front of everyone" (which normally I am SCARED TO DEATH to do, but didn't even faze me that night) The Sr's did their field show skit, then all of them came back and stood next to their parents and then announced them one by one and we walked up and had a picture taken. Ra stood by the fence and took a really good pic of us, so wanted to post it.
Last night after school , we all came home and got ready for the evening festivities. I dropped Ra off at her friends house to trick o treat and spend the night, while B went to a Birthday/Halloween party, and the rest of us went to Mom & Dad's like we normally do to hand out candy and hang out. We usually go trick o treatin in their neighborhood.
Today we were supposed to get Ri's Sr pictures done but he forgot to bring his French Horn home, and couldn't borrow one from anyone, so we rescheduled. This evening we took the kids to our Fall Festival Trunk o Treat at the church for the Jr Youth. Ri and B came along to pass out candy and hang out also. It was fun, got home in time to watch a movie, get to bed at a decent hour and have an extra hour of sleep even!!
