Thankfully this week has started out better. We had some friends from church over on Sunday, for lunch, tried to nap after everyone left before we all headed back to evenings services, but don't always get that nap like others every Sunday. Everyone around here left about the same time Monday morning; Lee left for his new job, was up before everyone :) ya think he was a little excited?? The rest of us went to school, and at the end of the day, R & I ran to the HS to get R & B to grab something to eat before they had to get dressed and loaded the buses for the SEMO District Fair Parade. It was total chaos as always, kids running here and there after school, to get back in time to leave. R & I were supposed to meet Lee and my parents in the new parking lot of the HS to go over the parade together, but it took me longer to get the kids off that Mom and Dad went ahead, and it's a good thing, cuz we ended up waiting for Lee till 4:45 pm, and I still had to run by and pick up a couple of kids from church to go with us. So we didn't get there till just before the roads closed! Of course, the JHS Marching Band was towards the end, and it started late, so we were there for 2 hours before we saw them come through. We left not long after that, had to head back to the HS to pick B up cuz R was going back to the Fair with some friends for a couple of hours. We got home about 8pm, in time for B to start her homework. She had left her History book in her locker and it was locked up when the buses got back, so she winged it and went in early this morning to finish it up. Today R started her after school dodge ball, B is on the "set crew" for the Drama club today and I was scheduled to work a soccer game at the same time that they both got out, so thankfully Lee was off in time to get R, and R stayed to bring B home, eat supper and go back to the HS for French Horn practice. So, everyone is finally home and now it's almost time for bed, so I am off to spend a little time with the kids and shower before I head to bed. TTFN
